Cody Clay address middle school football team.Bright and early Monday morning, the Clay County High School Panthers joined together in their new locker room to meet Cody Clay. Clay, a former #88 West Virginia University athlete, played for five years at WVU, started three of the five years, and played at Greenbrier West High School before that. Clay has played in 38 career games and started 21 and is an Iron Mountaineer honoree (2014) for excellence in the weight room. Clay met with the high school and middle school football teams to talk with them and give them pointers and advice for their upcoming seasons. Now that Cody has graduated, he is working in Charleston, West Virginia for Advantage Technology.
