Howard Lee Samples

Ivydale, WV — Howard Lee Samples, 84, of Ivydale, WV, entered into rest Monday, July 18, 2016.
Born October 8, 1931, in Procious, WV, he was the son the late Burvin and Baine (Townsend) Samples. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by son, Samuel Samples; and brother, Lowell Samples.
Howard was a Korean War Veteran and a Mason. He retired from Pennzoil.
Howard is survived by his wife, Mary (King) Samples; step-son, Roger Miller; daughters, Brenda Samples and Robin Litton; two grandchildren, Andrea and Curtis Litton; and sister, Patricia Samples Boggs.
Graveside service was held at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 21, 2016, at Long Sam Samples Cemetery, Procious, with Minister Wayne Litton officiating.
