Duck, WV – Johnny Dale Drake, 69, of O’Brion Creek, Duck, died July 10, 2016 at Clay Health Care Center, Big Otter.
He was born May 14, 1947 in Clay County a son of the late Dora Boggs Morris and Lloyd Johnny Drake.
He was a lifelong resident of Clay County and a loving, caring member of his family and community.
He enjoyed gardening, cooking, animals, hunting and spending time with his friends reminiscing about the good old days.
He is survived by two sisters, three brothers, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many cousins.
Thanks to John Morris for all the care and help for the family for many years. Thanks to Clay Health Care Center for taking good care of him.
He is lovingly missed but fondly remembered by his family, friends and neighbors.
Johnny’s body was cremated. A memorial graveside service was held 3 p.m. Saturday, July 16 at the Rollyson Cemetery, O’Brion with Pastor Gene Copen officiating.
