The SBA Disaster Loan program is an important step in the recovery process and is available to the Homeowners, Renters and Business of all sizes that were affected by the recent flooding. It is important for Homeowners and Renters to understand that should they denied for an SBA Disaster Loan they will then be referred to FEMA for possible additional grant consideration. Failure to complete and return the SBA Disaster Loan Application could stop a survivor’s recovery.
SBA Disaster loans are available for homeowners for up to $200,000 for the repair or replacement of disaster damaged or destroyed real estate. Homeowners and renters may also be eligible for up to $40,000 to repair or replace disaster damaged or destroyed personal property. This could include automobiles that were damaged in the storm.
