The Clay County Commission recently applied for funds to purchase new garbage receptacles for the Town of Clay. The funds were available through the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection. Each county could submit grants on a competitive basis, based on their needs. The new receptacles will be anchored to the concrete by the Town of Clay maintenance workers. Pictured are County Commissioners Arlene Tucker, President Mike Pierson and Jerry Linkinoggor with 14 new receptacles.
