Summersville, WV – Virgie M. Jackson, 92, of Summersville, entered into rest Monday, July 4, 2016.
Born September 4, 1923, in Indore, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Virgie (Reed) Brown. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Shirley” Jackson; son, Gary Jackson; and a brother, Bert Brown.
Virgie is survived by her sons, Robert, Randy, Darrell, Rodney; daughters, Betty McCune, Laura Fox, Delores Jane Neal, Patricia Ann Mullins and Beverly Jackson; and a host of grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; one sister, Cora Neal.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay. Burial will be in the Sunrise Cemetery, Beachy Ridge.
Friends may call one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
