Clay County High School (CCHS) has been involved in an intense process of decreasing the drop-out rate of high school students. CCHS has been involved in a pilot program through the National Dropout Prevention Center (NDPC) and the West Virginia Department of Education (WVDE) to develop strategies to support teachers as they work with students at risk for dropping out.
