Kanawha Falls, WV – Rose Marie Ongaro Porta, 93, a life-long resident of Kanawha Falls, entered into rest Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Montgomery Elderly Care, Montgomery.
Born on June 27, 1923. She was the daughter of the late Charles F. Ongaro and Rosa Bosia Ongaro .
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Aldo Porta. She was a member of the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Boomer.
She was a retired supervisor from the Department of Health and Human Services.
Rose is survived by several cousins and a host of friends.
The family would like to thank 2nd Floor of Montgomery General Hospital Staff and Doctors for all they have done.
Funeral service was held at 2:00 PM , June 13, 2016 at Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge. Burial will be in Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville with Father Mark Gallipeau officiating.
