Sutton, WV – Gladys Helen Patterson, 70, of Sutton, passed away May 22, 2016.
She was born February 20, 1946 in Braxton County a daughter of the late Columbus Washington and Clara Taylor Brown.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by brothers, Thurman Brown and Daryl Bragg; sisters, Coretta Crist and Bonnie Davis; grandchildren, Andrew Patterson and Marcy Cutlip.
Gladys is survived by husband, Roy Patterson; children, Roy Dana Patterson, Ladonna Kehoe and husband, Tom, John Paul Patterson, Joyce Blanton and husband, Terry, Clark Douglas Patterson, Katherine Dianna Patterson, Dawn Herron and husband, Glen, Sherry Moats and husband, Steve, Sheryl Stewart and husband, Friday and Denzil Ray Patterson; brother, Virgil Ray Brown of Strange Creek; sister, Marcella Knight of St. Cloud, OK; 31 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Service was held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2016 at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway with the Rev. Ray Teets officiating. Interment was in the Gray Cemetery, Harrison.
