Indore, WV – In loving memory of Wetzel Neal, 84, of Indore, entered into rest Monday, May 9, 2016.
Born July 20, 1931 in Bickmore, he was the son of the late Okey and Deretha Neal. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, David Neal; granddaughter, Monica; brother, Okey (Chuck) Neal; sisters, Thelma Neal and Naomi Burdette.
He was a retired coal miner, a member of the UMWA, a 30 years member of the
Indore Baptist Church and Sunday School Teacher.
Wetzel is survived by his wife, Janet Neal of Indore; daughters, Audrey Holcomb, Victoria Grose both of Indore, Teresa Taylor of Bickmore; sons, Donald Neal of Leatherwood, Matthew Neal of Indore; seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Dorothy DeBoard of Indore, Cordelia Hall of Petaluma, CA, Grace Morton of Bickmore, June (Wilbur) Holcomb of Indore, Dianna (Jim) Markle of Ivydale, Geraldine (Larry) Legg of Bickmore, Arbutus (Jerry) Gould of Indore, Catha (Ron) Kauffman of Fredericksburg, Oh., Patricia (Recil) Brown of Fola and Judy (Mike) Steiner of Bickmore; and aunt Marie Morris of Bentree.
Funeral Service was held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Indore Baptist Church, with Minister Paul Stepp officiating. Burial was in Wetzel Neal Cemetery, Indore.
