Clay, WV – Darrell Verdis Pritt, 70, of Clay, entered into rest Wednesday, May 4, 2016.
Born June 25, 1945, in Leathwood. He was the son of the late Sherman and Rosetta Pritt. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Geraldine Nottingham.
Darrell is survived by his wife, Nancy Pritt of Clay; son, Darrell Vertis (Niki) Pritt II of Clay; four grandchildren, Misty, Karissa, Shaylin and Summer; brothers, Roy Pritt of Maysel and Milford Pritt of Bomont; sister, Gloria White of Hartland and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home in Clay. Burial was in the Nichols Family Cemetery on Triplett Ridge.
