God the Father had faith in Jesus when He sent Him into a world that was under the control of Satan.

God in His eternal plan sent Jesus incarnate as a man.  Jesus did not divulge His deity while He was here except through the senses that man could understand.   They saw the miraculous that Jesus did as He healed the sick, cast out demons and demonstrated love to mankind.

Faith was such a powerful force that went beyond the five senses and understanding so God gave every man a portion of it.  Some use it to seek God and to walk in His ways while others use it in the form of fear.  Fear is faith in the evil, uncertainties, doubts and the unknown.  Fear can be strengthened as you feed it.  If you reinforce your doubts or expectations of evil your faith in their ability will increase.  It is also true that if you will spend time studying and meditating on the Word of God your faith will become stronger and stronger.  It is a principle that works either way that you use it.  Be careful.  It can set you free or it can hold you in bondage.  God gave you the ability but it is up to you how you use it.  It will either be a blessing or a curse.  Ro 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

A good example of faith is found in the 23rd. psalm.  The writer walked in a place that threatening shadows were cast before him.  The shadows were an indication that death was near.  However, the writer chose to believe that God was with him and walked on free from fear.  The shadow was sufficient proof that death was close at hand but a shadow has no power.  Although death was close at hand it could not manifest itself unless he let his faith turn into fear and hopelessness.

The lepers that Jesus cleansed were in a hopeless state and would have soon died if they had not come to Jesus in faith believing that He could cleanse them.  Perhaps you are facing a seeming impossible situation.  If you are truly a child of God you can call upon Him to help and sustain you.  A miracle might happen or He may give you the peace and strength you need to overcome or endure.  Take your faith and apply it wisely.  Jesus loves you and will not forsake you.
